Are you open year round?
Yes, Fresh Start Auto Detail is open year-round. We detail in any weather above 38 degrees without rain, snow, or heavy wind.
What happens if a detail needs to be moved due to the weather?
Your Fresh Start Account Executive will reach out to you within 24 hours via SMS text to set up another appointment time that works for you.
Is winter salt and snow really bad for my car?
Yes, salt causes corrosion and expedites the wear and tear timetable on your car. Both the exterior paint and brakes can be impacted by salt on your vehicle. While it won't ruin your car, we recommend at least getting a thorough exterior wash and wax after the last snow of the year.
Should I top off my windshield fluid?
Yes, if not already on a Fresh Start plan with windshield fluid included, we're happy to top off your fluid with winter-proof formula that will not freeze in the winter. Contact your detailer for more information. Small service fee may apply.
Do you have any recommendations if my battery needs jump starting?
Fresh Start does not currently offer battery jump starts. We recommend a couple courses of action:
1) Use a roadside assistance service via your insurance to have a technician swing by jump start your battery.
2) Invest in a battery pack charger. You can find a battery pack on Amazon for $150 or so.
